Industrial Structural Engineering Projects

Industrial projects are usually big, and the tolerances can be unforgiving. Our industrial structural engineering covers new steel structures, foundations for heavy and precision equipment, warehouse improvements, and conversions of industrial buildings to new uses. We have also done heavy-industry civil and structural work for mills and large industrial clients. They include International Paper.

The numbers can be tight. For QSL Printing we designed the foundation for a large Heidelberg press with an allowable deflection of no more than 0.0036 inches, and we designed the custom steel building that now houses QSL Printing.

For the services behind this work, see Industrial Engineering.
