School and Civic Structural Engineering Projects
Public and school projects can carry more scrutiny than most: strict specifications, close inspection, and deadlines fixed by an event date. Our school and civic structural engineering work includes classroom additions, event structures, custom light poles, and security work where the structure is designed to a higher risk category.
On these jobs we can end up coordinating more than engineering: reviewing shop drawings and concrete mix designs, answering the city’s questions, and keeping the contractor, supplier, owner and inspectors moving together so the schedule holds.
We have worked for school districts, universities, and local, county and federal agencies. They include Eugene School District 4J, Lane Community College, the University of Oregon and the City of Eugene.
