Structural Engineer for Bend and Central Oregon
We’re based in Eugene, and we’ll be straight with you: Central Oregon is a market we’d like more work in, not one where we’ve built most of our portfolio. Our custom LED light poles for Sisters show the kind of work we’d like more of here. If you’re looking for a structural engineer for Bend or the rest of Central Oregon, here’s how we’d work with you.

Sisters: light poles built to match a town
For Sisters, Oregon, we worked with Sternberg Lighting and J.H. Baxter & Co. to design custom LED light poles in wood and steel. The poles had to suit the rustic theme of this small tourist town — the exposed wood and steel connections give them the industrial character that fits. See the project.
We have also analyzed communications towers in Bend, La Pine and Prineville.
How we'd work on a Bend project
- Design and drawings remotely. Calculations, Revit models, review sets and permit drawings don’t need us in the room. We keep you updated with progress and delivery dates throughout.
- Site visits when the job needs one. Existing buildings, additions and anything built without a permit need to be seen and measured. Depending on distance and scope, travel may add to the cost of site visits; the fee estimate will show it before you sign.
- Your jurisdiction’s requirements, not ours. We find out what your building department wants and design the package around it.
The work we'd like more of here
The same work we do in the valley: new commercial buildings, residential additions and remodels, shops, site development and civil design, and tower and telecom sites. We’re licensed in Oregon, Washington and California.
