As a passive solar home structural engineer Eugene homeowners chose, JBE provided creative structural solutions for this award-winning residence. This playful passive solar single family residence was designed by Will Dixon, Architect, and was the winner of an AIA Southwestern Oregon People’s Choice Award. The window layout, irregular plan shape, and exposed structural elements provided the opportunity for some creative engineering design solutions.
